Fun Monday - My Woobie

This weeksis brought to us by Karina and she would like to see our can't stand to be without it item.

This was a tough one for me. Before i could have said with out hesitation...MY CELL PHONE, but.....recent budget cuts in the Julie Administration have caused the culling of "luxury" expenses. Now i know some of you might not think a cell is a luxury, but a nessecity and i would have agree until weighing it against say my son's medical expenses, it lost its value.

So after much thought i couldnt say handbag because at least 63.481% of the time i forget it and i couldnt say wedding rings or other jewlery as i dont wear any, i narrowed it down to ONE item that i have on or with me ALL the time

i must have at least 30 of these and have bought at least 100. They are on or in my handbag, my rearview mirror, my cubby at work, my bathroom, livingroom, bedroom, my mother's house and i am sure there are even a few at assorted ex-boyfriends. This is my cant live without item

I had to stare at that for a while to figure out what it was! I think they only reason I know is because I just bought one and can finally use it!

The only reason I have a cell phone is so that I can keep in contact with my teens. And pay phones are becomming extinct!

Oh, a clippie. I should've said that, too. I've had about a million, too. Now, I'm down to about 5.

Thank god for other commenters because I looked at that thing for a few minutes and still couldn't figure out what it was. A hair clip. Well who would have thought! Happy Fun Monday.

I think you get the prize for the most novel item shown.

that sentence brought a smile to my face! i love statistics! (did you know that 83% of them are made up on the spot? hehe.)

Yes, I carry those clippy's also. I even put one on my cat's tail and she spun around so fast that it flew off and hit me in the mouth giving me a fat lip. But I laughed so hard, it didn't hurt as much and I deserved it.

I've got those around here all over the place, though I don't think I've ever seen one that small.

It did take me a minute to figure it out though!

I love those little clippies too and before I cut my hair short I used them a lot. :) My hair is growing, time to find them.

I hate to say it - but I couldn't figure out what it was for awhile, either.

Probably because my eyes are tired, and my hair is short.

Also, it is a strange looking hair clip. It looks like something a neurosurgeon would put in someone;s brain - to clip off an aneurysm, or something.

Ah yes, I have MANY of those as well!

I leave a clip trail wherever I go. They really are indispensable. I've found out the hard way though that they hurt if you sit on them. Trust me on this.

Happy Fun Monday!

I can't wear clippies, they make my head hurt. You would think as long as my hair is it would be a relief. Thanks for posting at my blog and nice to meet ya! Yeah, cell is a have to with me. I got rid of the house phone thou.

I don't have enough hair to use one of those. And, me being a guy, wearing one would surly look out of place :-)

I used to have TONS of these...when my hair was long. Just like you, I had them everywhere!

That is a good thing to have handy. I have pony tail bands in the vehicle and one in my purse. My hair is shorter now, so I don't need it as much, but my kids often need one. I have the clips in the bathroom to use when I need them.

Back when I had long hair, clips were a necessity, but since hacking all of my hair off I know longer need them. Great choice.

I missed your Fun Monday. I was sick but I am catching up. :D

My hair is way too thick to wear clippies comfortably. I am so jealous. I use to have tons of the ponytail holders, but I keep loosing those suckers. With the help of a teenage daughter of course. LOL
